GPS Navigation for my Car? Best Brands to look at?

Hi I'm planning on purchasing a new portable GPS navigation for my car and was wondering which brands you personally think are the best? I am looking for a good device yet economical. It doesn't need to have tons of technology just get us from point A to be B in an efficient manner. Thanks for all the help

garmin magellan and tomtom are among the most reliable portable navigation systems

garmin has always been my favorite of the three giving the most detailed maps and best routing calculations.

the garmin nuvi 200 is the barebones navigational system it will pretty much get you where you need to go without all the frills
