GPS help- how do i upgrade it?

i just got a GPS Garmin - nüvi 200 GPS

and i was reading about upgrade the gps with a sd card

or put more info to

but i am wondering what kind of information can i upload or what else can i do with some help please

Sounds like you are eager to upgrade your GPS. If you have Garmin Nuvi 200, you should have the "Web Updater", it is an application which communicates with the Garmin server over the Internet and updates your Garmin GPS with the most current software version available. Software version running in you GPS may need some updates, there might be bug fixes and additional features online where your current version don't have.

All those upgardes and updates will require you to connect your GPS device to a computer through a USB cable. The "Web Updater" will have instructions how to do it when you have installed it in your PC. And if a map update is needed, you will download the software and it also has instructions when running the setup. The update process will require you to insert an SD card to backup your addresses and settings. After the updates, you may have a new interface, new features, maps, POIs and accuracy may improve.
