GPS maps update costs, which brand is the less for updates.?

Tom Tom, Magellan, Garmin, and Northstar all are similar in features. I am concern with additional cost later for updates.

Really the cost of the map updates are the least of your concern, they all run about $75 if you look around for a deal.

If you're going to buy a GPS get one based on the features because you're not required to keep your maps current - you can skip a year and probably be fine if you don't do a huge amount of traveling.
