GREEN LINE in NICCOSIA.?

Recentley i saw a documentary on the green line in niccosia in cyprus.the documentary dwelt with a little of the past of the green line zone (no mans land)..but the majority of the documentary was about a union of peace induced by children on both sides by playing different instruments crude and professional and reciting some poetry and anoncing thier names over loud speakers to each other from one demilitarized zone to the other.. it said as a result of this actions of the children and the organisers of the green line day awaking..that the green line was open after 40 years of seculsion..what i want to know ..are the organizers and the children gooing to do any thing else to brign peace and unity in cyprus? does any body have any information about this? thank you.

The documentary was about nonsense. Freedom will not come from any kind of singing kids or fake peace reconciliation groups.  

Edit: Your question is good because after those documentaries people has questions. Documentaries like that one may not be wrong but they are focusing on one trivial issue of the problem only and they fail to underline the real problem which is the illegal occupation of Cyprus by Turkey.
