GREEN? why not?

It is the color of everything important: money, nature, ecology, save the world projects, and now it is so important to vote Green; so please America --wise up, stand up, and vote Green Party, it will bring longer lives and peace of mind that we have not experienced since the dawn of time

Green party candidates may succeed at the local level but don't currently have enough support in national level campaigns.  They certainly have an agenda although it's not all "green" in nature.  It's a pretty good blanket group to represent the left leaning individual.

Why not?  Given our systems favor of a two party system, somebody who wished to see the most improvemnt given the restrictions of the system should pick the candidate that most closely supports their views that has a good chance of wining.  Greens claimed there was no difference between Bush and Gore in the election and thus said they would rather do a "protest" vote as a green.  That was stupid.  Clearly there is a difference between Gore and Bush.  the Greens cut off their own nose to spite their face.
