Question:

GTA 4 Brucie's Exports bug?

I had done 2 of Brucie's exports at the beginning of the game, and when i reached the Sabre, i sent a negative reply, because i didn't want to do it at that time. Since then i have finished the game, and am going for 100%. So i finished Brucie's Exports, and Brucie sent a E-mail saying that I got the last car, but i've yet to get that Sabre. Also, If Stevie is supposed to text me, he hasn't done so yet. Is Something wrong? (Quite a bit of time has passed, in and out of game, and that e-mail is still in my inbox without a delete button)

  1. You said you still have the e-mail request from Brucie for the Sabre in your Inbox, but even though you replied no to the message initially, doesn't it still give you the Reply or any other option now?  Either in the original Sabre e-mail, or in the latest one where Brucie said you didn't get the Sabre yet.  If it doesn't, then I think it's a bug and you might be stuck.

As far as Stevie texting you, he should have sent you the first text right after you got a call from Brucie about 2/3 of the way through the game saying he wanted to introduce you to his friend Stevie (happened for me after I finished one of the early Alderney missions).  Is it possible that Stevie's first text was quickly (accidentally) marked read or deleted without having done it?  I went through a few periods where I was so focused on doing something that I ignored a handful of texts for a while, etc. so Stevie's text was a ways down my text list.  Worst case, if the text got deleted and the game doesn't re-send it (which I think it doesn't), you could hunt for all 30 of Stevie's cars based on any detailed game guide, since you don't know which one Stevie asked for first, and eventually you'd find the one he asked for then be able to continue the series.

    Good luck!
