Question:

GTE anybody have any solid input to this gas comp?

it looks as though GTE moves with the oil market pretty closely. i was hopeing that somebody could help me with some solid research. is oil going to drop to 90-100 and if so will gte move with it? or are they to cheap and heading up?

    There is certainly a positive correlation, but "pretty closely" might be a little strong.

    No amount of research can accurately predict the future. There are experts predicting big declines in the price of oil while other experts are predicting big increases in the price of oil.

    I am not an expert, but my prediction is that the price will not rise or fall much in the very near future. Certainly my prediction could be very wrong. A disruption in the oil supply, possibly due to a terrorist action or a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, would certainly drive the price higher. A worldwide recession would certainly drive the price lower.

    In any case, I am neither buying nor selling energy stocks now. I am simply keeping what I already own.
