Question:

GU10 light bulb replacement?

I have a track light in my kitchen that uses the GU10 style light bulbs. One has burned out and I need to replace it, but I can't figure out how to get the old one out ! Do you twist it, or push it to pop it out, or what? Nothing I do seems to work when I do it gently, and I'm afraid to be more forceful until I know what I'm doing.

  1. Twist to the left. Counterclockwise. Slight turn left and then pull towards yourself and it should come out fairly easily. Try and grab it around where the ballast is so the glass part won't break in your hand.

  2. Call your local home store and ask them!
