GUIDING LIGHT PEOPLE ! Is it me or am i the only one who CANNOT watch the love scenes with Daisy and Grady?

first of all i just want to smack daisy for being some stupid - i mean come on how could you do that to your cousin.

but the main reason i cannot watch is - HE REMINDS ME OF CHARLES MANSON (the helter skelter guy)- ugh and when they are next to each other DOESNT he looks like he is a child molestor - ugh please if they are goin 2be together - bring in a new actor !!!

I am a big fan of GL and I have to say that I can not stand the story line of Daisy and Grady it makes me ill to watch them together...Daisy having gone through every thing she has you would think that she would not be so naive to the real world..I do feel sorry for her because she has lost Harley and she feels like she is all alone, but she is not she has Marina,Frank,Ashlee,Coop,Buzz and Reva....I wish that they would have sent that Grady guy to prison after what he did to Tammy...As I was watching last week and Cassie told Cyrus to leave town with his brother I was like YES please do. I did not care that much for her and Rafe,but let me tell you I would take Rafe over Grady any day!  I hope that Rafe gets to Daisy and tells her what Grady did as far as turning Rafe into the police...I hope that someone can talk her out of being with him, he is just creepy and gross...I wanted to jump though the TV last week and kick the c**p out of him for turning Rafe in. I mean seriously who does he think he is he killed Tammy for crying out loud,so who is he to tell Daisy Rafe is a criminal and he should not have put you in harm's way. If you ask me Grady put Daisy in harm's way quit a few times....If he would have never called the police they would have never came with the police for Rafe and if Daisy would not have testified for Grady he would be sitting behind bars..I hope that something happens between them and Daisy wises up to his bulls***! Ok I think I am done lol...

Edit: After reading Blaze's answer it got me thinking about why I truly can not stand Grady....I think that the reason I want him to go is because I was a huge fan of Jonathon and Tammy and because of what Grady did they are no longer on the show!

Okay you are not alone in this . That guy grady makes my skin crawl but i did not like her with rafe either and she must not have learned anything from being pregnant . I mean she was too young to have a baby but that girl needs to stop laying down with this grady guy ,like i said he makes my skin crawl . Lol on the charles manson thing .

I so agree, this guy is  creepy looking, and when he sticks his hair up on top of his head I have to switch channels. Yuck. he looks waaay too old for her and acts like a jerk. I do like her with Rafe better. Its time for her character to join Harley and her little brother OUT of Sight for awhile.

Uh-oh Spaghetti-Os...I'm going to play Devils Advocate for a moment...because, with time, I can see Daisy and Grady being a strong couple. IF...and this is a BIG if, its written the right way. This is going to be a true test for the writers of GL and I for one, can only hope they are up for the challenge.

Let me first say, I have been watching GL since I was 14 years old. (Thats 25 years for anyone that wants to do the math :)

In GL history...just about everyone who has fallen in love has fallen in love with either someone they are related to, someone that has killed or tried to kill someone else that they love, or has been involved with another family member. Its what happens. Most accepted Tammy and Jonathon together...and look at all the c**p they went through. Jonathon was the creepy looking dude with the long hair and nasty attitude for so long.

Just a few of Jonathons more *notorious* crimes....

1. Suspected of being Reva Shayne Lewis's stalker [January 29, 2003 - March 3, 2003]

2. Arranged for his mother, Reva Lewis, to be slipped drugs. [October 15, 2004]

3. Knocked his mother unconscious [August 15, 2005]

4. Planned to set Tammy's house on fire. Although he changed his mind, ended up accidentally burning it down anyway. [December 7, 2005]

5. Faked his and Sarah's death [February 1, 2007 to late January 2008]

6. Kidnapped Roxy, Lizzie's dog [March 5, 2008]

Yet...I'm pretty sure that MOST (not all) that watch GL these days REALLY wish that Tammy was still alive and that Jonathon and Sarah were still around.

Another example is Michelle and Danny Santos. Both Michelle and Danny committed their fair share of crimes...some more heinous than others.....but I **KNOW** there are soooo many *Manny* fans out there still....

Danny Santos -

1. Paid the ice cream store owner, Len, to lie the police that Michelle was in front of his store during the time of the murder of Ben Warren [January 9, 2000]

2. (In a seven month time span)

Accidentally shot Jesse Blue [April 14, 2000]

Assaulted his cousin, Tony Santos [August 29th, 2000]

Shot his mother, Carmen. [Nov 2000]

Dumped Carmen's body in the river [Nov 2000]

3. Faked his own death and coerced Cassie, Reva, Gus, Ed, Harley and Michelle to keep it secret [November 11, 2002 - December 10, 2002]

4. Set the explosion that (unintentionally) injured his wife, Michelle Bauer Santos. [May 21, 2004]

My point is, yes Grady can be creepy looking, especially when he has his hair pulled back in a ponytail...but...Daisy, just like Tammy and Michelle did with Jonathon and Danny...she sees the good in Grady and b/c she can see and feel his heart...that is what is driving her in her devotion for him. He, like Daisy herself, has made mistakes....and honestly...so have we all in our lives...what has mattered to all these women in Springfield, is what lies beneath the surface of the men they love.

When stepping back and looking at the bigger picture...it can be said about just about everyone in *Springfield* that not a one of them is perfect....looks aside...there is a great potential here for a brilliant love story.....

I love GL (almost as much as ATWT) but I can't stand Daisy/Grady being together, either! Daisy is so stupid for falling for him; Grady is a no-good scoundrel. He is a tad bit creepy; I get chills watching him! And I don't understand how Daisy can love someone who killed her cousin, even if it was accidental!

i agree, but for different reasons... the actress who plays daisy is just too young!

the character annoys me in general. she's just too stupid and naive. back when she was still called Susan LeMay, the character wasn't nearly this naive. Actually, I think she was more mature bact then. Have the writers forgotten how much this girl has gone through? She's lost both her adoptive parents, met and got to know her real ones, been to jail, etc... you would thinkg that would mature a person pretty quickly.
