this is a question for both guys and girls: (mostly guys, since i know what girls go through!)

well, me and my brothers were arguing about who has it worse during puberty... boys or girls. and so, for everyone who answers, just say who you think has it worse, and explain your answer, and/or give a list of the reasons why that gender has it worse.

THANKS!

and 10 points to the best answer!!!

(if your going for best answer, you may want to include both viewpoints in your answer!)

THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYONE WHO ANSWERS!

  1. GIRLS DEFFO!

girls have to put u-p with periods and growing b***s!

all boys have to put up with is there p***s growing bigger and there voice going deeper thats easier to deal with than periods and chossing the right size bra!

  2. Well I think both have it the same

I think Guys do because, my-self being one. During puberty Guys worry about how tall they are, some guys are 4"8 at 13 others are 6"5 (theres one at my school) we also worry about erections and those can be really embarrassing along with erections we worry about p***s size. We also worry about Under-arm hair and pubic hair.

Girl could have it harder though because, PERIODS, enough said, Girls also tend to get more emotion able  during puberty then guys. and size of b***s is worrying. Thats about all i know bout girls and there puberty though so i guess thats me answer!

  3. Females hands down!!! what happens to boys is hardly worth mentioning! wow my voice cracks and I get hair in weird spots!

  4. girls have it WAAAY WORSE ...

first.. it happens to them first...

i mean girls start bleeding once a month.. and go clinically insane just before they start bleedin... AND they start to get b*****s.. which .. everyone can.. see... (or NOT see depending on if you even get b*****s) .. so you can have a friend same age with C cup b***s and you're flat as a pancake... and everyone can see it... thats awkward..

what do guys have to worry about ?  occasionally spoogin in their undies at night ... their voice squeaks for couple months.. and they get hair in odd places... big deal...

definitely.. girls have waaay more changes to go through during puberty than guys.

  5. Both sexes have their fare share of issues during puberty but if one had to be chosen then it would have to be a "Female". As they have to deal with the following.

*Breast Development/Leaning to adjust to physical change

    *Pubic/Underarm hair growth

    *Vaginal Discharge

*Mensturation/dealing with moodswings and adjusting to change

    *Skin/Acne = Due to hormones

    *perspiration (Self hygiene)

    As for males

    *Voice Breaking

    *Pubic Hair/Chest Hair/facial hair

    *Body Size/shape- Physical change

    *Skin/Acne

    *Wet Dreams

    *p***s Growth

All in all both have enough to deal with how ever females have long term factors which she has to deal with over her ageing life. With men their p***s grows and stops, the skins clear etc..With females their period remains with them for most of their adult life along with the hormonal roller coaster re-occuring each month and vaginal discharge which can cause females infections if not looked after properly.

  6. girls do, alot of the changes guys go thro is hidden under clothes and not noticed exept facial and leg hair, voice too, but everything a girl goes thro is obvious

  7. There is no question here...it's GIRLS.

Like boys we get hairy legs and armpits among other places but we  SHAVE!!!!

Cramps, do guys get cramps???every month?

Bleeding and wearing something similarto a diaper so we don't bleed through. Worrying about blood, odor, spotting, BLOATING, headaches and cramping. UGH. Guys go through puberty but then it's over, we deal with this every month for 40+ years!!

  8. Girls.

Females have a lot to go through, what with their hormones constantly going out of order. They have to go through excruciating issues like hair growth in places we wish it wasn't, menstruation and the frustration of dating.

Males have it rough to, what with wondering if they're long enough and al of those insecurities that come with "wet dreams"but physically and mentally I would say that girls have it much worse preparing for birth.

Also, as much as getting kicked in the nuts hurts, b*****s become very tender at this age, so although it's not quite as painful; getting hit there just adds to the misfortunes of puberty.

  9. girls do (you know why)

and ok this is gross but guys find new ways to enjoy themselves...

    while we just GET PERIODS

    AND MOOD SWINGS

    ANGRY

    NOW

    ha

    :)

    x

  10. to be honest being a guy during pubety is the easiest because all u do is get hair and some ppl get "wet dreams" being a girl u worry about ur body blah blah u know and u get periods and girls are always self consious of there bod

  11. Well, girls obviously! We always have to deal with the hard stuff. Like periods, getting b***s, hips becoming bigger, acne, hair, mood swings, irritability, and not to mention when we're older we are the lucky ones to carry a child for nine months and as if that weren't enough we also get to force it out a sensitive area!! What do boys have to deal with? Voice change, hair, and wet dreams? Wow, that seems so hard! (not)

  12. of course girls.... girls go through emotional problems, their period, getting pubes, growing b***s... well youre a girl, you know the rest.... all guys have to go through are wet dreams, voice changing, and maybe a growth spurt...

  13. well to tell the truth girls do because they have to start having periods and stuff but for guys everything is great... we get sperm and hair the only bad thing is a squecky voice every once and awhile

  14. Well, physically girls go through it worse, but mentally I think it's worse for guys.

Let me explain:  Girls go through some major body changes that make them self-conscious and possibly uncomfortable, i.e. b*****s, having a period, and maybe worrying about getting pregnant.

Guys find themselves in a position where they all of a sudden are expected to act like a little man, and all the macho b.s. that goes with that.  This can be extremely stressful on young men, especially when they're used to being themselves, then they're supposed to have a deep voice, be tough and not cry.

Guys also have a physical change, but it's less evident when they're clothed.

  15. guys have it harder, there voice cracks every five seconds, its embarrassing, you get sick acne, and you grow faster so you seem really clumsy

girls just start having there period that dont to go through all the stuff guys do they have it easy

  16. i think that girls have it WAY worse because we have to start our period.

WE HAVE TO BLEED OUT OF OUR v****a'S.

    Yeah. Bleed. LIKE BLOOD. eew.

Then our b*****s have to start growing. And that HURTS LIKE h**l.

We can't even give a simple hug without it being painful.

    YEAH!

THEN, we have to wear bras.

    They are super uncomfortable.

And tampons and pads are SUPER gross..

    And that's that.

  17. Do guys get **** and mood swings like girls along with periods i dont think so, and all that trouble of asking mum about shaving legs, and underarm hair and makeup, guys get what a man voice and bigger balls, yeah thats hard going!!

  18. honestly i think its girls,

    well since im a girl,

i dont really know much about guys except that there voices change,

and well hair down there but so does everyone.

    girls its much worse.

    you get your period,

    which hurts,

your b***s start to grow which also hurts if you hit it against somehting,

but then again a guys thing also hurts,

but its just harder for girl because they become pregnant guys just sit there and watch.

    ususally girls get more acne,

and girls need to be worried about shaving everything before they go out for a swim,

girls need to be worried about cellulite and strechmarks, while guys have to be worried about getting buff at the gym,

so it comes in close but i deff think that girls win the prizee.

    hope i helped.

  19. Girls, definitely. Seriously, do u know what we gotta go through every month!!!!!!!! In my opinion guys got it easy.

  20. def girls...they have periods and thats enuf to have it ruff. and they have major mood swings.

Guys just have to go thru acne, bigger p***s, bigger balls, and gettin taller and all that stuff so def GIRLS

  21. GIRLS

We have to go through our period, growing pains (b***s), more pubic hair

    ha ha

and we have to go through so much more emotional stress

    its so annoying

    and we get hormones too

and we get it earlier most of the time

    so HA!

To all you guys who think you have it worse

  22. Well i'm a girl and i'm going to go with Females have it worse. The Menstrual Cycle alone beats any kind of Voice cracking guys go through. Our Bodies drastically change. Males just get taller or fatter or skinnier and maybe get acne. . Women get Periods,Acne,Body Change,Sexuality Comfortability Issues. And guys just get boners in class or in the morning and wear a condom. Girls puberty is so much more complicated.meaning worse

  23. I'd say girls; as a guy we only go through a growth spurts, which does have some pain (growing pains,) but that's not nearly close to what the girls gotta go through.

  24. Girls:

Period, Breast Development which hurts sometimes, Worried about small b*****s, Mood Swings, Acne, Pubic Hair, gross.

    Boys:

    p***s growth, pubic hair, acne.

So yes, Girls have it worse.

  25. Girls definately have it wose... if i had some blood leak outta my d*ck and then had to put something in it so soak it up, i dont kno what i would do.

  26. During puberty, guys have it worse. How embarrassing would it be to be giving a speech and have your voice crack? Or to have to walk up to write problems on the board with an erection? Puberty is a lot more awkward for boys, I'd think.

However, after puberty, girls have it worse. For guys, it ends. For girls, we get to deal with our periods once a month for the next forty years of our lives.

  27. i'm a guy but i know that girls go through much more.

i mean, going through puberty is a good thing for us. our voice deepens, we get more body and facial hair and lets not forget, our p***s's grow in size.

and girls, well you gotta go through period pains and mood swings.

  28. Testosterone poisoning is rough, but then that's at least as hard on the girls who have to deal with adolescent boys.  Between PMS, cramps and bleeding, I'd have to say that girls have it worse.

  29. girls totally.  not only do they get the voice change/acne/body hair like boys, they also have to deal with periods, getting b***s/hips, stretch marks

  30. Girls definetly have it worse.

They have periods which includes cramps

    Hair in extremely embarassing places

Changes to their bodies that they're not used to

    Develpoing homones which are confusing

    More Moodswings

And the stuff girls go though are difficult to talk about

  31. girls always have it worse for almost every physical thing.

girls get their period of course which is something you really have to adapt to. and it's not even the period alone. with the period comes pimples, terrible cramps, PMS, binging, etc..

plus they have to start wearing bras and sometimes it may be weird because their b***s look like triangles at first. lol.

guys just..grow hair.. and their voices change. but girls do too. like really, how much adapting do guys have to do?
