GUYS: Do you ever feel the urge to cry?

Question

I have been thinking about how males always try to have the tough-guy impression, and I wonder, do you guys ever have the feeling the cry, but you just hold it in to try to seem strong? Or do you have no clogged-throat-and-urge-to-pinch-your-fa... feeling? Thanks for those who are willing to answer!

For me, there is nothing more emotional then seeing my mother or my grandmother cry. I was a best man at my cousins wedding last year and my cousin wanted his 1st dance to be with our gram, long story short it was a very emotional time. I stood there in front of all those people and let a few tears go. Kind of embarassing but after the fact, I got alot of positive comments from people that were there. (bridesmaids) so it worked out pretty good.

not really, i mean i used to when i was small but i just dont pay much attention about what's around me nor do i really care

I used to cry. Nowadays though...I can't remember the last time I ever did. At least not in front of anyone.

I don't think it's so much as seeming strong. I think it has more to do with whom I'm showing my emotions to.

It's a question of trust.

i do sometimes! it depends on the situation. sometimes i like to cry, but it builds up inside of me and i can,t let it out. it,s better if you can cry, because it relieves the tension.

Everyone is human.

When I was 10 years old my brother died and I never cried once because I wanted to act like a man.  This resulted in my mom making me see a psychiatrist for about a year proceeding his death.

Since then, I have cried.  We are all human.  Crying is something that isn't that hard to control if you really want to.

The last time I had the urge to cry was when I dislocated my shoulder. But I didnt. The only time we cry is if theres a death with someone really close to you.

I usually have tears welling up in my eyes after watching a sad part in a movie, e.g. in the Abyss where the Ed Harris character has to watch his wife drown in the leaking underwater craft.
