  1. just say hey do i know you or ask your friend to learn more about him

  2. you should talk to your frined about him first... she may no t know him that well, but obviously she knows him more than you. Then maybe she can arrange yall meeting randomly at a perty or something.

    or this allways works too...

Hey! have i met you before? you seem really familiar.?

  3. Just give him a simple hello. Explain how you saw that he was a friend of your friend, and that you'd like to say hi. Tell him a little about yourself.

DON'T make it sound like it took you 3 hours to perfect your message. Us guys can easily pick up on that. Just keep it calm and cool, and he'll get a kick out of that.

Be smooth, don't be antsy. Be casual.

If you tweak your message too much, it will sound awkward, like a sales pitch. Keep it short and sweet. Baby steps...

"Hey, my name is XXXXX, and I saw you were friends with YYYYY. You seem pretty cool, I figured I would say hi and introduce myself. How's school going?"

End with a question of some sort. This will open the communication channels. Always remember, you can't have a relationship unless you have a friendship first. Focus on the friendship, and then work your way up when the time is right.

  4. This one usually works: "Hey."

Or you could always go with the famous, "If you don't want kids, why don't we just practice."
