  1. Is dlúthchairde iad, bua agus aire*

This means "Its closefriends they are, victory and care"

I know thats the opposite way round but thats how id say it if you really wwant ti you could swap it around to "Bua agus aire, Is dlúthchairde iad" but dont give the "I" in "Is" a lower case letter, its always capital and at the start of a sentence.

*im not sure what exactly you mean by care:

aire= care as in caring for someone or something

If thats not what you mean other words you could substitute are

faichill = care as in caution

buairt = as in your troubles/cares

Also you should post your question in the languages part of society and culture there a few other irish speakers who answer there you might get a few alternatives ways to say it.

    * in the translation below dlúth is used on its own to mean close. It doesnt mean close when used on its own it means compact. It only means close when used with friend as in dlúthchara (close/best friend) or he plural dlúthchairde.

  2. Is dlúthchairde iad, bua agus aire--Victory and care are close friends.

Tá bua agus aire dlúth-victory and care are close

    btw, It's Gaeilge not Gaelic!

    Slán!
