Gah! Could I get AIDS/HIV or an STD?!?

Question

I have a large open wound on my knee, and it is oozing blood and puss.

Some hair got in it and I dunno what to do!

I'm scared I'll get an STD. =/

Nothing to worry about here.  An STD is mainly transfered from mucus membranes, usually those found in the s*x organs.  You cannot get an STD from hair, and it's very unlikely that you will get an STD from a cut in your knee.  There is a reason they are called Sexually Transmitted Diseases.  Puss is a sign of a bacterial infection, which can become a very bad thing.  Just make sure you keep it clean, meaning wash the wound with water daily, bandage it, and change the bandages daily.

Wash it out real good with clean water then maybe some Hydrogen peroxide see a Doc
