Gained weight from antidepressants?

i hear lots of people who take prozac,zoloft,paxil and other antidepressants gain weight.anyone hear taking these if so did u gain /lose or stay the same weight?

I took Paxil and gained 70 pounds. But I was so zonked out I didn't care. I lost about 50 pounds since getting off the drug, but I don't think I'll ever drop the last 20.. I'm older and wiser now, so it's fine.

I took Celexia and gained four pounds- so the point is, not be depressed and gain weight, or be depressed and stay at the same weight?

I was on Lexapro & I gained 20 pounds, but after I went of of it I lost the 20 pounds

I gained weight so I stopped taking them.

yes. i took zoloft at one point and i gained 20 pounds.

I don'y know the name of the antideppresant i was put on as i wasn't aloud to handle them myself but i gained weight on them and stopped taking them because of this.

i took prozac and gained 10lbs but that was probobly bc i was anorexic and the medication gave me the confidence to get back to a healthy 120 pounds.
