Gainesville, GA and surrounding areas?

I will be attending college in Gainesville, GA and was wondering what city would be the best to live in? I don't want to live in Gainesville and I don't want a long commute to school everyday. So what nearby city would be the best choice? Thanks!!!

  1. Hi. I am in almost the same position as the person who posted this thread except I have 2 small children so I am looking for an area that has good school systems. Also me and my husband are looking to buy a house so I want a nice area, family oriented neighborhood, nice backyard, etc... Thanks!
