  1. You need to work on your flexibility, and your fundamentals. Timing your landing on your front foot will help you with accuracy but the arch in your back and the whip in your arm and wrist is where you gain a lot of speed. Don't hold the ball too tightly either or that will defeat anything else you do.

  2. Push off the mound harder and work on your leg strength a LOT!!!!

  3. Work off the mound a little and you will gain some speed between 5-10 MPH.

  4. have a cannon surgically inserted in your arm, but first, have it modified to shoot baseballs

  5. I just turned 15 and I also play high school baseball. On a good day i can throw consistently around 81-83. I've been pitching since i was 8 or 9 with instruction from Ex-Major Leaguers and other Pitching Professionals and the most effective ways to increase speed are:

1: Proper Mechanics- Proper pitching mechanics are the keys to faster and more accurate pitches.

2: Pushing Off- By pushing or driving harder off of the pitching rubber, a pitcher can easily gain 5 mph on all of their pitches.

3: Long Toss- Long toss strengthens an arm considerably; allowing the pitcher to throw faster, but be carefully, as too much long toss can injure younger arms.

    Hope this helps!
