Galatasaray have gone on to confirm that they are looking to make a move for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532, as they feel the player would be an ideal fit for their squad.
Following his move to the Emirates, Santos has failed to make a mark on the North London club. He has not managed to make his way into the first team, and if anything he has played as a backup player.
At the same time, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kieran-Gibbs-c20945 has started to impress just about everyone with his performances and should he not pick up an injury in the near future, he is going to be the first choice left back for the team.
Following his move to Arsenal, and following the way life as a footballer has been going for Santos, the Brazilian went on to get dropped from the national team and as a result, he hasn’t featured in any matches for the national team since 2011.
Many feel that these recent events are forcing the player to reconsider his future at Arsenal, as he might soon be on his way out, in order to try and secure first team football.
Galatasaray’s chief executive Lutfi Aribogan, when talking about the possibility of Santos making a move to the club is reported to have said: "Andre Santos is one of the names [we have] on our list"
Despite the club making it apparent that they might be interested in landing the player, they are yet to contact Arsenal over the possibility of a transfer.
At the same time, they haven’t even talked to the player over his future plans, which makes us believe that this transfer might not actually take place.
However, Santos recently went on to admit that he would closely look at his future and then decide just what he wants to do. The defender has admitted that his top priority is doing that what is best for his family, and that is exactly what he will be doing
from here on.
It is now going to be a wait to see just how this transfer deal progresses and whether Santos leaves Arsenal or not.
