Wesley Sneijder has denied any reports linking him with a move to English club Chelsea in this summer’s transfer window. The player is heavily linked with a move to the UEFA Europa League champions as he will reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho
in that case.
If reports are to be believed, the Blues are looking to bring in the former Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan midfielder to Stamford Bridge from Galatasaray. Mourinho is a huge admirer of Sneijder and has reportedly asked the Chelsea officials to go for the Dutch
midfielder as he looks to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
Sneijder claimed that he shares a great relationship with Jose Mourinho and he has enjoyed working under the Portuguese manager. The attacking midfielder stated that he is currently happy with Turkish side Galatasaray and is looking forward to be playing
at the team next season.
He committed his future to the Turkish giants and hopes to remain at the team until January next season.
“I have a special relationship with Jose Mourinho and enjoyed working with him, but I can't leave Galatasaray in the lurch or the fans that I admire. I want to play till January at least and help my team. I love Istanbul so much,” he was quoted as saying
in an interview.
The Dutch international added that he loves the atmosphere in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 and is keen to be at the club for a long time. He admitted that the club worked hard to land him and there are great expectations from the fans which is the main reason he wants to stay.
“I've met a new country and a new culture. It would not be easy to leave and turn my back [on Galatasaray]. My club have expectations of me. The board worked so hard for my transfer. I can't go anywhere because I owe them,” he concluded.
Wesley Sneijder has thus far made 16 appearances for Galatasaray and has scored four times in the process. The player lifted the Turkish Super Lig title with the team and made some impressive performances during the course of the season.
