The Turkish giants have waived away speculation linking them with the Bulgarian and claimed that the reports were only tabloid rumours.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254’s current predicament has been compounded by the fact that he will not be allowed to leave Old Trafford in the next few months, as Super Liga side Galatasaray confirmed that they weren’t looking to sign him.
The striker has been frozen out of the squad by Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, whose wealth of attacking options has spoiled him for choice. A £32.5 million signing from Tottenham Hotspur in 2008, Berbatov was the Premier League’s top scorer in the 2010/11 campaign
but failed to make an impact last time out.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736, which has restricted the amount of game time for the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
After making his intentions clear, it was expected that the attacker would be leaving Manchester this summer, but a move has so far failed to materialize.
Now a potential switch to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 has also been ruled out, with Galatasaray removing any chance of signing him before the transfer window closes in September.
"There have been some reports in the media that Dimitar Berbatov will be transferred to our club. The club would like to declare that there is no transfer and no attempt has been made in that regard,” said a statement from the Lions read.
Ferguson has already apologized to the player in public, claiming that the fierce competition at the helm was responsible for his stint on the sideline.
Edging ever close to the conclusion of his playing days, Berbatov is still highly regarded in the footballing world for his skills on the ball, which can often bring even the sternest of fans to their feet.
Like a magician he can often do things with a ball which seem impossible to the untrained eye, but sadly his feats are unlikely to be displayed at Manchester United anytime soon, as he himself is fed up and wants to sign for a team, where he can at least
play on a regular basis.
A return to his homeland seems like a logical choice and it could happen before the 1st of September.
