Galaxy pull?

i was just wondering if every galaxy has a black hole in the centre or every galaxy go through this phase, so is it okey to say that it might be the reason for the stong gravitational pull of a galaxy?

  1. yes but uhm, don't forget about all the other stars in the galaxy too.they have lots of mass = gravity as well and only add to the equation.


  2. As far as I have researched, yes, they all theoretically have a super-massive black hole at the center. It is the only explanation I have ever come across.
