I saw an awesome clock in a galileo museum in florence recently. The clock was wooden and hand made with a swinging pendulum at the bottom.

When the pendulum swung to the left it swung around 2 little poles, then its momentum sent it off to the right were it done the same before going back to the left.

I am desperate to get one of the clocks if someone could help me please.

  1. interesting.

i think you're going to have trouble.

the fulcrum for the pendulum is critical.

it would be quite difficult to make, and not have quite a bit of friction.

when setting it up, it would be critical to get it vertical.

the escape mechanism, that adds energy (there always is one) would also be interesting.

as i said, i think you're going to have trouble.

i think this does not lend itself to mass production.
