  1. The surgery is really quite simple, they make just a few little incisions and you will be asleep! 11mm is a BIG stone, ouch!

  2. There isn't anything that can dissolve a gallstone that you can safely take, and no way to get it from the stomach to the gall bladder anyway.

The stone is bigger than the exit from your gallbladder, so don't let anyone convince you to to a "gallstone flush". It's like pushing a golf-ball up your nose ...not going to work.

Here's the problem ... if the stone shifts position and blocks the exit from the gallbladder you may be facing EMERGENCY surgery to prevent a ruptured gall bladder. Basically your desire to avoid a fairly minor surgery has the possibility of turning into major surgery, a much larger incision, and a longer recovery time.

  3. You should do a gallbladder flush. It is easy. I've done it a dozen times through out the past 10 years  and it works. My friend with gallstones got one out the size of a golf ball!

    Here is my favorite recipe:

    GALLBLADDER FLUSH

Before you do the cleanse, make sure your bowels are moving regularly (at least once a day).

    PROCEDURE

    1) For at least a day or two before the cleanse, try to drink as much apple juice as you can comfortably drink.

    2) For these two days of the flush, plan to be near a toilet. Ingredients are in bold. All ingredients should be room temperature unless otherwise noted.

    3) In the morning of the first day, prepare 2 teaspoons of uniodized unrefined sea salt (Use “Real-Salt” or “Celtic Salt”. You can get this at the health food store. Do not use regular salt!) dissolve thoroughly in a quart (4 cups) of lukewarm water. This is called a “salt-water-flush”. Drink this all down within 5 minutes. Be next to a bathroom for the next hour or two. If nothing comes out within one hour prepare 1 heaping teaspoon Epsom salt dissolved in 2 cup of cold filtered water and drink. Most of the contents of your bowels will be flushed out.

    4) For entire first day drink nothing but pure organic apple juice (not from concentrate, not frozen, no additives or sweeteners, etc). Drink as much of this as you can, probably about ½ to 1 gallon of it. Eat no food. Try to drink about 1 cup per hour. Apple juice helps softens stones.

    5) At 6 pm, take your last drink of apple juice.

    6) At 6 pm, prepare 1 heaping teaspoon Epsom salt dissolved in 2 cup of cold filtered water and drink. Epsom salt helps your body excrete more gunk.

    7) At 8 pm, prepare 1 heaping teaspoon Epsom salt dissolved in 2 cup of cold filtered water and drink. Epsom salt helps your body excrete more gunk.

    8) At 10 pm, before going to sleep, mix ½ cup of VIRGIN olive oil (The amount depends on your weight. This ingredient prompts the liver and gallbladder to spew out its bile gunk), add freshly squeezed juice from one grapefruit OR two lemons (this ingredient helps open up the bile duct) and 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger root (this ingredient helps prevent vomiting). Shake these 3 ingredients thoroughly together. Drink it all down with a straw, brush your teeth and tongue, and immediately lie down to sleep. Sleep with your head elevated. If you feel nauseated, lie very still and try to relax all abdominal muscles, pray, and wait because this feeling usually subsides within minutes. Keep a clean towel (to spit into) next to your pillow in case your mouth gets full of saliva. If you vomit, you have ruined the flush and will have to do another one, but not right away, wait at least 2 weeks to let your body rest. (If you are a heavy sleeper you will sleep through this terrible nausea and not feel a thing.)

    9) In the morning on the day after, prepare 2 teaspoons of uniodized unrefined sea salt (You can get this at the health food store. Do not use regular salt!) dissolved thoroughly in a quart (4 cups) of lukewarm water. Drink this all down within 5 minutes. This will help get rid of the gall stones and toxic bile waste from your intestines and prevent them from being reabsorbed. If nothing comes out within one hour, prepare 1 heaping teaspoon Epsom salt dissolved in 2 cup of cold filtered water and drink.

    10) For the next few times you relieve yourself, expect 30-200 soft jelly-like stones usually green (from the liver), tan (from the gallbladder) in color. They will not be like normal p**p because they are made of bile salts and cholesterol globules so they float. They look like peas!

    11) For the rest of the morning, drink apple juice only. DO NOT EAT anything. This is because you just spewed out the bile and enzymes in your liver and it cannot digest anything until it manufactures more bile. If you don’t follow directions and eat regular food or in large quantities, it will be undigested and rot into toxins in your intestines and make things worse, not better. For lunch and dinner, eat very light and in small amounts: vegetable soups or well chewed raw fruits and vegetables (without oil or dressing).

If no stones come out the first time, try drinking apple juice for 2 days instead of 1 day before the flush. You will not be able to get out all in the first flush. In fact, the smallest stones come out the 1st time. As you do more flushes, bigger stones from the interior of the liver come out. Try to rest a month between flushes. You should repeat the flush once every 6-8 weeks as more globules surface from the interior of the liver, about 5-10 times in total or until after doing the flush 3 consecutive times with no more stones come out. Then as maintenance, 2-4 times a year.

  4. onlymac, I clicked the wrong side..I meant to give a thumbs up

  5. NO....sorry...there is no alternative to the surgery.  That pain in your side is a WARNING....It's time to get it out! And the longer you wait, the longer you are risking emergency surgery.  I work with 9 surgeons and we see these patients every day.

That pain will eventually get severe, bad enough that you will end up in the E.R. for emergency surgery.  Your gallbladder can become gangrenous!  If your stone [are you sure there is only one?  That would be unusual...]  moves, and blockage happens, you could get a liver abscess, or pancreatitis, any number of serious problems,  and MUCH more serious surgery.

The surgeons do these surgeries every day, and are very skilled.  The surgery is done arthroscopically.  One incision at the belly button, where the gallbladder is removed through, an incision at the bottom of the breast bone, and 2 other small incisions on the right side, where the camera and instruments are entered.    NONE of these is larger than a 1/2 inch!!!  95% can be done this way.

If you wait too long, and it has gangrene, or a severe infection, and just "falls apart" when they try to remove it, then you would have to have an open cholecystectomy, with a very large incision from about mid abdomen to the right side, under the ribs.

Recovery from the simple one is about a week to 2 weeks...The open one is about a month to 6 weeks....you don't want this to happen....

And the simple one is done in the day hospital, outpatient, home the same day.

There is nothing to fear.  You will be in experienced hands, they do this every day.  Please don't wait...You are wasting valuable time...There really is NO WAY except surgery.

  6. The inaccuracies of onlyumatch4u and Mia's posts are frightening.  A little background info, gall stones are made up of calcium salts or bilirubin (found in bile) or cholesterol (or any combination of the 3).  The reason why they are formed isn't well know but genetics, activity, physical health and diet have been shown to all influence their development.

Now if your gallstones are predominately cholesterol they can sometimes be broken down using oral medications, but they will return once the medication is no longer being taken (unless you lower your cholesterol as well).  If the stones are not predominately cholesterol you have very few options left to you, they could pass on their own if they are small enough (doesn't seem likely in your case), you can have surgery or you could try an alternative medicine approach (only 1 documented case of this working).

You should disregard much of Mia's post on gallbladder washes, a hospital in New Zealand examined some of these supposed gallbladder stones from a 'wash'.  They found it was predominately fats found in olive oil, basically the combination of epson salt and olive oil results in the development of fatty stones being produce which you then pass and think are gall bladder stones.  There has been one documented case of success in the British journal of surgery of a patient taking a 50/50 mixture of lemon juice and olive oil and then passing gall stones.  This patient later went on to develop more gall stones which were then removed via surgery.

Onlymatch4u's idea of a coffee e***a isn't going to do any good, there is no direct path from the colon to the liver or the gall bladder in fact that gall bladder only connects to the intestines at the very beginning of the small intestine which is situated more then 25feet further up the intestinal tract from the colon.  The sheer amount of coffee needed to get an e***a that far into your intestines is scary.  Its also needless to say that a coffee e***a even if it reached the bile duct (which connects the intestines and the gall bladder) wouldn't do any good because it would be unable to go up the bile duct into the gall bladder.

If you decide to do any kind of alternative treatment make sure to keep getting check by your doctor in case they dont work, if your really really lucky these alternative treatments just might work.  But if they dont work (which is what will most likely happen) you will need to get surgery done.

  7. Gallstones are a result of bad bile being sent to the gallbladder from the liver.  LOW FAT diets are a major cause of this problem, as well as the type of oils and fats you eat.  Most people in America today have liver problems and most are not aware of this.  Bile is made from cholesterol.  There is a lot of misinformation circulating by the media and medical professionals regarding oils and fats.  It's really quite amazing how little they really know.

When you eat fats or oils, they go through your digestive track to the small intestines where cells that line this area secrete CCK hormones that go into the blood stream and when they reach the gallbladder in less than a minute's time, cause the gallbladder to squeeze allowing bile to flow into the small intestine where it breaks down the fats and oils so the body can digest them.  Then the bile goes back to the liver to be reconjugated and sent to the gallbladder again.

If you eat LOW FAT diets, then the body does not ask for the CCK hormones and the bile now sits in the gallbladder, waiting, and getting viscous and then it crystalizes.  This crystalization process is how the stones are formed.  Now, when the CCK hits the gallbladder and the bile is sent to the bile duct, the stones get stuck or move very slowly down the duct and cause pain and bad bile - fat interaction.

Surgery should be the absolute last resort for this problem.  Doctors have only drugs and surgery to solve this problem.  What you want to do is make your liver and gallbladder healthy.  So, the first thing is to make your bile more watery and shrink the stones.  At the same time, you need to increase the size of the gallbladder "THROAT" to allow stones and viscous bile to pass easier.  Once you have accomplished this (about 2 to 3 weeks), then you can clean your liver and gallbladder with a series of coffee enemas.  There is a direct pathway from the sigmoid colon directly to your liver and gallbladder.  When you do this, the liver and gallbladder become clean and start working incredibly well.  You will notice many things, like your skin becomes incredibly wonderful and you feel better all over because you are now producing enzymes better, etc.

So, to answer your question, you can go to:  (800) 370 - 3447 and order:  Gallbladder Nano and Gallbladder Complex.  Once you are used these products for about 3 weeks, your bile should be very watery and the stone should have shrunk and passed.  Now once this is done, you can do the coffee enemas and you will notice that more stones and thick bile will come out.  After doing this 3 times or more per week for 13 weeks, you should be clean and feel wonderful.

Now, in regard to fats and oils.  You need to understand what is good and bad.  I suggest you read the book, "Life Without Bread" by Christian Allan, Ph.D.   This will give you a very basic understanding that most doctors don't even know.

Please understand that it is NOT normal to get gallstones.  Your diet needs work.  AVOID at all costs, Vegetable oils, especially ALL soybean, canola, cottonseed, and corn oils.  These are very unstable polyunsaturated oils that oxidize in the clear bottle just from the lights in the store and also oxidize in your body just from your body heat.  Nature packaged polyunsaturated oils very nicely in seeds and other foods that are loaded with antioxidants, but when they squeeze the oil out of those nice packages, they oxidize (go rancid) very rapidly.  AVOID ALL fried foods, ALL hydrogenated Oils.

Two medium chain fatty acids that do not require bile to break down in the body are:  BUTTER made from Raw Cream from cows fed grass, and Coconut Oil that are from extra virgin, cold pressed processes.  Drinking the coconut water and eating the coconut meat is wonderful for you.

Forget what you are told about saturated fats.  Good saturated fats feed the body and make it healthy.  They are very stable and have been used for centuries generating very healthy bodies.  Mother's milk is 50% saturated fats.  Your heart gets it's energy from saturated fat.  Every cell membrane and organelles are made of fat.

The correct ratio of fats you should be eating is:  60% monounsaturated fats; 30% saturated fats; and 10% polyunsaturated fats.  These should be from whole food sources.

The very next thing you should do is seek out a Certified Nutritional Therapist to help guide you in a quality diet and test you for deficiencies so you won't have to guess what your body needs.

good luck - this protocol does work and works very well.

EDIT:  The diatribe from Kevin P regarding coffee enemas is due to the lack of information and lack of understanding of body anatomy.  The sigmoid colon is attached to the a**s and there is a direct pathway that goes from the liver to the sigmoid.  Any basic anatomy book will show this.  Additionally, Coffee enemas were an established part of medical practice when Dr. Max Gerson introduced them into cancer therapy in 1930's.  In 1981, Dr. Lee Wattenberg and his colleagues were able to show that substances found in coffee - kahweol and cafestol palmitate - remote the activity of a key enzyme system, glutathione S-transferase, above the norm.  This system detoxifies a vast array of electrophiles from the bloodstream and, according to Gar Hildenbrand of the Gerson institute, "must be regarded as an important mechanism for carcinogen detoxification."  This enzyme group is responsible for neutralizing free radicals.  Physiological Chemistry and Physics has stated that "caffeine enemas cause dilation of bile ducts, which facilitates excretion of toxic cancer breakdown products by the liver and dialysis of toxic products across the colonic wall!

In addition, theophylline and theobromine (two chemicals in coffee) dilate blood vessels and counter inflammation of the gut; the Palmitates enhance the enzyme system responsible for the removal of toxic free radicals from the serum; and the fluid of the e***a then stimulates the visceral nervous system to promote peristalsis and the transit of diluted toxic bile from the duodenum and out the r****m.

99% of gallbladder operations are simply unnecessary and with DIET CHANGE and detoxification procedures it is definitely a much better alternative to surgery.  There are so many cases of successes that it makes statements to the contrary seem ridiculous.

I wish people on this forum would not make statements about things that they simply are ignorant.

The best argument for trying the natural way is that if it doesn't work, there is always the surgery option, right?  But, if you do the surgery, there will be NO natural option open.  Ask yourself, why are gallbladder operations more prevalent today than ever?  Doesn't it make sense that we have a gallbladder for some good reason?  When i see clients without gallbladders and they find out that the problem of pain is the only relief they have gotten and that now they have the same issues but only in a different location, they are very sad.  To attach the bile duct to the intestine and by pass where the gallbladder was without addressing the basic problem, gallstones were made by another problem.  Fix the basic problem and your gallbladder will be fine.  Make the bile watery and open the throat of the gallbladder and then clean up your diet so it won't happen again.
