Gallbladder problems:(?

its saturday so i cant ask my doctor and my question is what SHOULD i be eating while i wait for my follow-up check up due to an inflammed gallbladder and gallstones?? i know not to eat spicy and greasy fatty foods....but what is ok to eat....dairy, meat, bread, pasta??? please be specific!! thanks so much!!!! i dont want to aggravate it any more than it already is!!

  1. If you stay away from high-fat foods, it will help. You can eat pretty much anything otherwise. I ate pasta a lot, and skim milk, mashed potato, veggies cooked without oil or additional fats.  Just go as low fat as you can go to give your gallbladder a break. I really hope you can talk to your doctor soon. I know you are not feeling so great.


  2. My daughter went through the same thing. Her surgeon recommended bland food. Such as jello, chicken broth, breads,and applesauce. I would for sure stick to this diet until my follow up appointment.
