The former AC Milan goalkeeper has lauded the Palermo shot stopper’s abilities and stated that he would have been first-choice for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 if not for Buffon.
While conceding that the Juventus custodian deserves his place as the number one goalkeeper for the Italian national team, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emiliano-Viviano-c12483
is a great goal keeper. Buffon has cemented his place in the national team set up for quite a long time and has proven himself to be the best time and again.
However, Galli was of the opinion that the qualities of the Aquile shot stopper should not go unnoticed. However, he urged the shot stopper to raise his game to come to
the level of Buffon. He reiterated that Viviano has qualities not normal in a goal keeper and that he should cash in on the gift he has been bestowed.
The former Fiorentina shot stopper further went on to state that he would be disappointed if Viviano was not able to extract the best out of himself. He further went on
to state:
“Emiliano can become a great if that is what he wants. It would be a shame if he doesn’t take advantage of the qualities that he has and I often tell him that.”
Galli reflected on the predicament the Palermo goal keeper finds himself in, and stated that he was unlucky to have Buffon to contend with and stated that it was similar
to the situation he found himself to be in during his playing days. He further commented:
“He has the misfortune of having a great goalkeeper like

The Aquile goal keeper did fill in for the former Parma goalkeeper under the management of Cesare Prandelli. However, this occurred when Buffon was out injured. Another
reason why the Rosanero goalkeeper has not been able to stamp his mark on the national side is because of his own injury concerns.
He has had injuries to his knee ligaments when he was at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, which restricted his playing time. He is currently looking to make his way into the Euro 2012 squad.
