The Diavolo chief not disappointed with the result of Coppa Italia and believes that the team played extremely well at the Juventus Stadium.

Milan entered the second-leg needing to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the game at San Siro last month. The Rossoneri drew level on aggregate score in the allotted 90 minutes, and the game had to be taken to the extra time. Mirko
Vucinic scored a blinder in the 96th minute to knock Milan out of the Italian Cup.
Despite being eliminated from the Coppa Italia, Galliani is pleased with his team’s displays, and insists that Milan have proved that they are the best team in the country. The Rossoneri chief insists that the Diavolo are the best
team if they have a fully fit squad available at their disposal.
While talking to Milan channel, Galliani said:
“Milan played a great game. We won 2-1 in normal time to overturn the deficit from the first game. If we have all of our players fit and healthy then we are a lot better than the rest of the sides. Despite our exit, we still won
in Turin over 90 minutes.”
After witnessing the dreams of winning the treble getting shattered, Galliani has urged his team to focus on the Serie and UEFA Champions League.
“The Coppa Italia has gone. We are now focusing on the Roma game and our four point lead over Juventus in Serie A.” continued the Rossoneri chief
Milan currently lead the Serie A standings with a four-point lead over Juventus. On the other hand, the Italian Champions have qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the 2006/07 season.

Galliani is hopeful that his team will take positives from the defeat in Coppa Italia, but insists that the result of the Cup competition will not affect the battle for Scudetto.
