Galliani denies Cassano-Borriello swap talks; Giaccherini not joining Juventus or Fiorentina

Borriello left Milan to join the Giallorossi on-loan before the start of the 2010/11 season and was made permanent this season. Cassano is also linked with a move away from San Siro throughout the summer transfer window and has
been linked with several clubs.
The 29-year-old is reportedly seeking a move to a team which can guarantee him regular taste of first-team action. Recent reports have linked with him with a swap move with Fiorentina striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-Gilardino-c4324, and a move to Genoa
as well. Milan bosses have insisted several times that their prized star is not for sale and have once again reiterated his stance and denied reports of a swap move.
Talking to the reporters Galliani said, “We’ve never made such an offer and I know nothing of these stories. Cassano is staying with us. I speak on a daily basis with his agent, Beppe Bozzo, and he’s never mentioned this possibility
to me at all.”
On the other hand, the agent of Cesena forward, Emanuele Giaccherini, has denied reports linking his client with a move to Italian giants, Juventus and Fiorentina.
The striker is in the last year of his contract at the Stadio http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dino-c11319 Manuzzi and is seeking a move away from the club. The agent claimed that his client will not sign an extension but there have been no contact from any side as yet.
The agent said, “There is nothing new to report right now, the only certainty is that he won’t be renewing his contract. The Juventus and Fiorentina options are obviously liked by the player, but there has been no contact with
either of those clubs.”
