Galliani happy with Cassano’s recovery and hoping to have him back soon: Serie A news
A.C Milan Vice-President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302, is recovering well from a mystery illness.
Cassano has been hospitalised for the past three days after he fell ill on the journey back to Milan from Rome. The former Sampdoria star suffered a sudden problem and faced difficulties in speaking on the plane.
The Italian international has undergone several tests in the last 48 hours and reports in the media have diagnosed the striker with different problems. Some reports suggest that the 29-year-old suffered a stroke while few have
revealed that he is suffering from some neurological problem.
Galliani revealed that he visited the hospital where Cassano is admitted and had a word with the star striker. The chief spoke to him for five minutes and revealed that he was in good mood and looked very calm. The 67-year-old
is hoping that the Italian international recovers very soon and insisted that the whole team wants him back.
While talking to the reporters, Galliani said, “I spoke to Cassano five minutes ago and he was in a good mood. Cassano is strong and will certainly recover. The whole squad is supporting him.”
When enquired about the details of the illness, the Vice-President refused to reveal the exact problem and insisted that every patient has his own privacy and the doctors are there to look after him. Galliani is not sure how long
will it exactly take for the former Real Madrid star to get back into action.
“Every patient has a right to privacy and this is the case for Antonio too. There are doctors there and they are looking after him. I can’t give a diagnosis. I don’t know how long it will take for him to return. I’m not a medic
that is not my profession. He’s being looked after.” added the Vice-President
Cassano is one of the few players who have played in all of Milan’s league matches in the 2011/12 season thus far. The former Bari striker has been influential in his team’s success so far this season and the Rossoneri will be
hoping to have him back very soon.
