Galliani has full trust in injury-free A.C Milan and confident of challenging for the double
A.C Milan Vice-President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani, insists that the Italian Champions are competitive in both the domestic and European competitions when at full strength.
Milan beat BATE Borisov 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League game at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011. The Rossoneri remain at the top of the Group H standings equal on points with second placed,

The Rossoneri have had a slow start to their league season and have picked up only 8 points from the opening six matches thus far. Host of injury concerns in the early part of the season have badly affected their campaign and they
missed the services of star players, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Pato-c4901 and Philippe Mexes for major parts of the season.
Most of these players have returned to full fitness and have made a mark immediately after their comeback. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robinho-c31382 inspired his team to a crucial win against Palermo in his comeback last week. While the Red and Blacks continued
their good work to win against the Belarusian Champions recently.
Galliani has hit back on the critics, who believed that Milan had past their prime and cannot defend their Scudetto. The chief said that the team has proved the critics wrong since the return of their superstars and they will slowly
pick up the momentum to challenge for all trophies.
While talking to the reporters, Galliani said, “We’ve had to deal with numerous injuries, so if we have a normal number of absentees, then we are competitive in the Champions League and Serie A. I cannot understand why the media
didn’t remind people of that in recent weeks. We are improving over time and with these players Milan can do well.”
The 67-year-old went onto praise his team’s performance against BATE and believes that apart from a few lapses in concentration, his team ruled the roost against the minnows of Europe.
“BATE had only a couple of chances and all of them ‘gifted’ by us,” said the Vice-President.
Milan will play their next game away to Lecce on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Stadio Via del mare.
