Galliani rejects Cassano talks of Roma and hoping to have Ibrahimovic fit for Cagliari clash
A.C Milan Vice-president, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603.
Cassano’s Milan future has been surrounded by a lot of uncertainty throughout the summer transfer window and it is believed that the striker wants more playing time. The former Sampdoria striker is believed to be last in the pecking
order of strikers at San Siro and is desperate to find first team action in order to cement his place in Cesare Prandelli’s national team setup for the Euro 2012.
Several clubs including Fiorentina, Genoa and Roma are interested in his signature but Galliani has no intention of letting his creative striker leave.
"Cassano to Roma? I heard this news on the television, but I think this is all just false information.  As far as I am concerned Cassano is staying at Milan."
The former Real Madrid striker joined the Rossoneri in January transfer window after falling out with Sampdoria President. The 29-year-old provided much needed cover to the attack in the later part of the season when Milan were
missing their main strikers.
Cassano’s performance in the friendly game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 has really impressed manager, Massimiliano Allegri, and he has assured him that he will get a fair chance in the team.
On the other hand, Galliani is hoping that star striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029, will recover in time to start the 2011/12 season.
Galliani said, "I'm in constant contact with our medical team. They told me that they're trying to get Ibra ready for the match versus Cagliari."
Ibrahimovic picked up an ankle injury during the pre-season friendly against his boyhood club, Malmo FF. The striker underwent a scan couple of day back and reports showed that he has survived a break as initially feared.
The 29-year-old is expected to be a main figure in Massimiliano Allegri’s setup and he will be hoping to have him fit when the new season starts in nine days time. Milan will start their 2011/12 Serie A campaign with an away game
against Cagliari on August 27th, 2011.
