What is the difference, and which should I have for my 4 female rats?

  1. Neither, I'd say. I'd go with powder coated if at all possible. Galvanized is harder to clean and holds odor more. PVC is softer and can easily be chewed. Powder coated is your best bet when it comes to rats.
