Speaking to the media reporters ahead of their maiden Indian Premier League final against defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, Gambhir said that the support they have received from the Kolkata fans is fantastic and
now it’s the time that the Knight Riders should win them their first ever IPL trophy.
“The way the fans in Calcutta have supported us even when things were not going in our way have been really heart-warming,” said the 30-year-old Delhi http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Paul-Anthony-Hibbert-c81005 at the pre-match press conference on Saturday.
“At times, the support for our team have been so strong that we were really overwhelmed. So, when we walk on to the field tomorrow, we will try to win it for Calcutta,” he added further.
After struggling in the first three editions of the lucrative Indian Premier League, the Kolkata management decided to change the leadership bringing in Delhi lad Gautam Gambhir and giving him the charge of the side in IPL-4. Gambhir
