series between the two outfits would be played in Jaipur on December 1.
A major part of will be played under lights, as the match starts at 2:30 pm local, so the dew-factor would play a key role in determining the match result. Gambhir, the home captain, said on Tuesday that it is always good for a team batting
on a Subcontinent track to score as many runs as it can to help the bowlers in the latter half.
Gambhir, who led the national side to a 40-run victory in his first ODI as captain, was targeting a total of 300 if put into bat. He further added that with the dew-factor coming into the game in the latter half, a massive total would be
helpful for the bowlers. Gambhir, who was talking to media reporters after a training session at the Rajasthan Cricket Association's academy, expressed confidence in his bowlers.
"It (dew) is a big factor but we also have bowlers, who have the experience and who have bowled enough in dew conditions. They will use some chemical and that will make a difference I think but there are certain things like toss and dew
which are not in our hands", said the Indian skipper on the eve of the second ODI.
When asked about the team composition and the Swai Man Singh wicket, the Indian opener said that he has not yet discussed the playing XIs with the coach while the track, according to Gambhir, looks dry and it is expected to spin a bit for
the side bowling first.
The home side practiced in the nets for about one-and-a-half hour at the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 batsman Yuvraj Singh to bat in the nets. Coach Gary Kirsten was seen giving
tips to the struggling middle-order batsman, who has recently been demoted from Grade A to Grade B in BCCI’s annual contract list.
