  1. I have a section where players talk about their casino experience... there you can find some info.

I hope this help your question...

  2. Gambling is a gamble and success stories exist but are few and far between.  I personally won $6,000 playing a progressive slot called Treasure Nile at intertops.com.  There is also a case of a bunch of russians taking land based casino's for millions playing roulette.  People do win, but you need to know your limits and gamble within the limits.  The main winners always gamble when they have an advantage over the house (basically use the free chips, bonuses to assist them).

  3. Gambling Success Story:

When my girlfriend and I were in Last Vegas for the Super Bowl last  year, I gave her $5,000 to bet on the Patriots, to win straight up.

Because they were such a heavy favorite, we were only going to get back $6,000 when they won... meaning our "win" would just be $1,000.  But I figured it was a sure thing... and our expenses that trip were under $1,000, so we would have shown a small profit.  No way were the the Patriots gonna lose, right?  I mean, come on... they hadn't lost all season.

While watching the game, I looked at the ticket for the first time and realized she bet on the wrong team.  (She selected the wrong number from the board and gave that number to the cashier.)  Instead, of betting the Pats to win straight up, she bet on the GIANTS to win straight up... at odds of 4 to 1!

So, because the Giants upset them, instead of losing $5,000 as we would have done if I had bought the ticket, we got back $25,000... a $20,000 win!

(But despite the unexpected and pleasant outcome, I'm not going to let her do that anymore.)

  4. I learned how to play craps, and what I instantly realized is that if you play the come, you *lose* all your bets if a 7 comes out, but if you play don't come, you *win* all your bets on a 7. I thought this was pretty ludicrous, so I tested it on a computer simulation first, and made roughly 200-300% per series. When I took this to vegas, I made $800 on $200 bankroll.

However, that was the last trip i ever played craps. I'm a small money bettor, and I couldn't handle the stress of $200-500 in play at the same time.
