  1. Since I don't like the Yankees and would be rooting against them, I'd take A-Rod, Mr. Choke-tober.

  2. Is it even fair to ask this question right now?

Everybody is so doen on ARod that I am beginning to feel sorry for the overpqaid arrogant jerk that he is.

    Jeter.

  3. k I hate the Yankees but I respect there players I hate arod and if I had to choose it be jeter if it was a rod that had to bat then the world would be doomed cause he would fly out or ground out

  4. A rod

  5. A-Rod by a mile

  6. The way they have stepped up for their injury prone team this year, neither. Game 7? What are u thinking? If it was a past yankees team probably A-rod. Only because they would need a grand slam to win the game. He has more of a chance for the HR, while Jeter would probably only get a double and possibly tie the game. I hope old Hank realizes having the leagues top payed players doesn't mean you buy the world series championship with it. He deserves to be embarrassed.

  7. I would opt for D. Jeter to bat, not expecting or even hoping for a grand slam, but rather a base hit that would score 1 to 2 runs. Let the following hitter try and get a couple more across.

  8. Manny Ramirez!!! or Big Papi!

  9. I'd certainly rather have Alex Rodriguez at bat.

Then, I'd throw a hard sinker, and he'd dribble it to an infielder for the third out.  I get the save, of course.

  10. If i was the yankees manager, JASON GIAMBI, he homered to center and tied up the game...better than

Jeter: 4 singles, no RBIs, no runs 4 for 4

A-Rod:2K's, foul out, ground into DP with bases loaded and 1 out, 0 for 4

  11. Jeter. Hands down. If I was the batting team. Pitching A-Rod.

  12. WHY WOULD YOU PICK JETER? HES MORE CLUTCH.... BUT YOU NEED A GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!

    arod of course

  13. No brainer. Jeter.

  14. well that would make it a grand slam and jeter has only hit one and arod has hit what 18 of them. but the way arod plays in the post season its a hard one. Girardi says he'd always want alex in that situation so id have to go with the skipper and say alex

  15. Probably Jeter.  That's not to say that either would come through.  Both strike out a lot but the only difference is that Jeter will usually take the count deep.  He is more inclined to get the pitch he wants and thereby go with the pitch.  A-Rod, when behind in the count is usually dead meat!

  16. jeter   the man with the sweet a ss ,,

  17. jeter even though arod hsnt been that hot. id rather have him hitting over 85% of the rest of the mlb

  18. I want a singles or doubles   hitter in this situation that can make it a tie or a one run game >which means  Jeter
