Game Boy Advance SP Help!?

Question

I just recently dug up my old gameboy advance SP to play with on holiday... it is on red battery and whenever i plug it into the charger it charges for about two seconds and then stops, staying on red battery. I've thought about putting new batteries in but the game boy comes with its own special battery that would be too expensive to replace... does anyone have any ideas as to what to do...?

is the charger broken?because usually u can just play with the charger even if the batter is dead.

sounds like the charger is broken, take it 2 a game store like best buy or gamestop 2 get it looked at, or just get a new charger since that's most likely ur problem...

i had that same problem once. Just take it to your GAMESTOP (if they have those where you live) and trade it in.. keep the credit they give you and when you have enough money to by a used SP go for it..

u can trade it into gamestop if u have one of those they will give u some form of store credit (dont walk in ther and expect alot tho) and u can save that towrds a ds light or aothe gbsp if thats what u wat
