Game Boy Advance help! Something isn't working!

Question

ok, i know this system is old but i need help with it! My L button on that system is not working! I've tried and tried but the game is not responding to the L button i've pressed. The button is going down but it is not working for any game. I can not take it back because i bought it a long time ago and i don't have the recite for it so i can not take it back (besides, they wouldn't take it back anyway since it's so old) and i lost the instruction manuel because i bought it so long ago. Please, can someone tell me a simple step by step procedure of how to fix this. I just want that button to work correctly!

It is probibly just wore out so its done. Get a DS it can play advance games.

i have the same problem but now, i got a ds lite. so take the system apart or buy a ds.
