Luciano Spalletti has warned Massimiliano Allegri to expect no mercy when Zenit St. Petersburg go head-to-head in the UEFA Champions League tie against Milan at San Siro
Zenit St. Petersburg will lock horns with Italian giants, AC Milan, in the UEFA Champions League’s last group stage match on next Wednesday in a bid to keep alive their slim hopes of securing a place in the UEFA Europa League this
season.
As things stand, the St. Petersburg club are at the third spot on their respective group table, level on points with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RSC-Anderlecht-c40394 but a place above in the standings due to a better goal difference.
The Belgian League champions, on the other hand, will play against the group leaders, Malaga CF, who are unbeaten in the group stages of the European competition so far this season.
Luciano Spalletti has told is side to work harder for a difficult away European fixture against the Milan-based club, reminding his side that three points can secure them a place in the Europa League this season.
The Italian tactician went on to salute Massimiliano Allegri’s tactics and techniques that turned around the fortune of the Milan-based club despite starting the league campaign on a low.
