Game tap disk space?

Question

when i try to play a game it says i ran out of disk space i deleted every other game compleatly, but it wont run what onfuses me is tht it waz working fine yesterday, how do i increase the disk space ( i heard u could on the website but it didnt say how)

You can gain a lot of space by deleting temporary internet files.

In internet explorer, click on tools->interner options, click the delete button and then delete all or whatever you want.

In firefox, click tools->clear private data and delete what you want

To get a clear picture of your entire drive, you can get diskmapper from micrologic. You can then choose items to delete if the temporary data was not enough. Be careful what you delete with this tool.

To see how much space you have click start->my computer and look at drive c and it will tell you how much free space you have.

In the gametap client, you can tell gametap to use a fixed amount of diskspace, or to just use whatever available space you have.  I think this option is in the download manager.

Also note that some games are downloaded in a compressed state, and then need to uncompressed on your computer.  Unfortunately, Gametap only reports how much space you need for the download - which doesn't always take into account the space you need for uncompressing.
