Please recommend a book (or website) on the theory of establishing a hierarchy of people that can function reliably with traitors occupying some of its positions. Id est, A system of checks, double-checks and balances intergrated with Project Management to insure integrtiy in an environment of uncertainty.

Actually, this sounds a bit like information theory... but I'm no expert on that.
