Gamertag recovery from xbox to xbox 360

i have an XBOX 360 with an xbox live gold subsription. i was just wondering if i could use my 360 gamertag on my original xbox. if so. how would i go about recovering my gamer tag to my xbox, then back to my 360.

i dont think u can do so , u can recover the original gamertag to a 360 but not vis versa, from the 360 to recover a gamertag u can sign out then press guide button then select recover gamertag then go on ..
