Games 8-9 year olds like to play?

Tomorrow im taking a class of 8-9 year olds of about 25 and just wonder what outside games can I play with them that will be fun and that everyone will take part at the same time and have fun as well.

lol i'm a counselor at a summer camp, i'm 17 and help watch after 60 kids, i'm with that age group 8-10 years old and they love to play dodge balls, jail break (if you have a b-ball court) and freeze tag.

heck even hide and seek on our huge 5 acre property,

they love it.

Kick ball and dodge ball wew my favorites around that age. Plus you can keep everyone close. No one is running off and it keeps them active.

what kids dont like to play duck duck goose?? or since its hot drip drip drop. same as duck duck goose. just say drip drip drop. then take a water bottle and put a drip for drip and and a lot more for drop! have fun!

My vote:  Capture the flag or create a simple Scavenger Hunt.  Of course kids always like prizes, printed certificates etc for winning,

put a piece of gum on a paper plate. cover the gum with whipped cream. set all the plates on the floor, have all the kids sit in front of a plate and put there hands behind their backs. then they race to see who can find the gum first (using only their mouth) and then who ever finds the gum and blows a bubble first wins :) YAY!!!!
