  1. most activities work best with a theme.  Go to www.everythingpreschool.com they have everything from art projects to songs to tories all aranged by theme.  Good luck and have fun!

  2. well to get the kids eghedacated u can do plays n rolemlaying

  3. Day care activities should be similar to a preschool classroom. Set up centers. Have a home living, dramatic play area with dress ups, sensory table to change off from water, sand, flower and anything else you can think of, also include cups, funnels, boats etc. in this area, have a library area, have a block and Lego area. Don't forget the art and writing centers. Have painting easels up all the time. During your day have a schedule that you do free selection, circle time, snack time, music time and lunch time. Sometimes you could make instruments and have a parade with them. Anything you can think of will work. Do lots of goggle for ideas and you won't run out of fun. Keep it fun and flexible!

  4. Kids like to play pretend have them act out plays. You can pick subjects like at a doctors office, movies or books they like . My little sister likes to pretend she is a cat suck in a tree and my nephew rescuse her, wearing a plastic firefighter hat. The kids might enjoy this.

  5. PLAY-DOH!!!!!

Balls- make up a game (like they can't touch the ground...maybe balloons would work best for that...)

    Blocks, dolls, cars...Etc...

  6. You are so ignorant please dont answer ANY of my questions if your going to be ignorant about it!

  7. Free play actually works best for this age group.  Have available beach balls, blocks, puzzles, toy cars, and dolls.  Let them play as they want to.

An idea my students like is to play groceries.  Save empty boxes like cereal or fruit bars come in along with plastic sour cream type containers.  Give children large paper bags and let them pretend grocery shop.

Dress up is another fun activity.  Have hats, and clothes available.

This age group loves to paint but it can be messy.  Try painting the table with shaving cream, or painting with water outside.

I get many of my ideas from the books "The Toddlers Busy Book" and "The Preschooler's Busy BooK"   published by Meadowbook press.
