Games console opinions?

whats better PS3 XBOX or a WII

Wii = 360 > PS3

360 has the most games and is probably better for "hard core" gaming.

Though it's online is like another $50 a year. And you have to DL software updates that allow for certain games (there's a list) from the Original Xbox's list to "emulate" on the 360.

Wii has some great gameplay elements but is full of "casual" games. Though there are some really great rare gems for the Wii. I own most of them. lol Also, it's online is not the best but Nintendo is slowly trying to fix that problem from what I've read. Though they won't really comment on it. With full GC backwards compatibility and the ability to DL Wiiware games and Virtual console games, you've got a decade or so of gaming at your finger tips. The only downside is no Hard-drive yet, so the amount of games you can DL is limited. But you can delete and redownload a game for free at anytime.

PS3 has probably the worst line-up of games minus MGS4. Though it's internet is sort of like Xbox's and it's free, but Xbox's still beats it as the best online. Depending on the model you can have full PS1 and PS2 backwards compatibility.

ps3, wii xobx, xbox sucks so much it brakes so often they made a name for it. Ps3 is an entertainment system free internet, blue ray and much more. The wii is really fun but terrable graphics.

xbox 360 is the best choice if you're interested in quality online play / community.  best choice overall IMO and best price.

if you want games that are just good ol'fashioned fun: Wii

If you want shooting games: 360

if you want a good mix of genres with good games for each (eventually): PS3 (or PS2 now)

Well PS3 is better overall, because it's cheaper.  Xbox360, more people have and more people play because you have a huge variety of games.  The reason why PS3 is better is because it has blue ray, wi-fi, rechargeable controller, and a bigger hard drive, all for $399.  For 360 you will atleast spend about 450-500 for all that without blue ray.  I have both, so I'm good to go. lol

it depends if your looking for a different system it would be a wii you can also download most of the older games for previous systems and they have a web browser on it. Ps3's are good too but they have a lack of online play and are more expensive, but they are pretty much a computer they would be good for someone more technical with things.

xbox is a good system. it has good games, and amazing online play. so if your looking to play online this system would be the one to get. it has download movies, xbox originals,tv shows, music videos, extra added features onto games such as levels or expansion packs. personally i think the best system out there is the 360.
