Games for birthday party?

what are some games that 2 teams can play aginst each other outdoors is allowed too?thankd for helping and each team will have about 8 people.

  1. Tie ballons around your ankles and see whos ballon is last to be stepped on..


  2. we played a game once where  2 teams were given giant straws we found in a two dollar shop. each team member had to try and drink out of a regular cup with the giant straw. it was great fun!

    similar thing can be done with a memory game...put some items on a tray whichever team can remember the most wins.

  3. Relay races!  Potato sack races, three legged races, wheelbarrel races, etc.

    Volleyball and baditten

    Get an inflatable kiddie pool and fil it with water, break into 2 teams and have a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the water!

    Waterballoon fights.

    Baseball/softball

    Soccer

    Another game, it's usually done in a circle, but you can stand in 2 lines facing each other and do it, and it will work.  line up in two lines facing each other and toss a ball back and forth to each other,  the object is to keep the ball going in the air.  So one team member throws it to the other and they throw it back, so you throw it back and forth between teams.  Whoever drops the ball is OUT of the game!  The last person standing, wins!   You can even do this in the circle and just know who's on who's team and make sure that each team takes turn, like your team would throw to the opposing team and they would throw back to you, make sure that no one is throwing to their own teammate, it has to be to the opposite team and whoever drops the ball is out!  Whoever is left standing wins!  Then they made the win for their team!

    tug-of-war is a good one... but use a strong rope or someone could get hurt!

    egg relay races... (put an egg on a spoon held in your mouth and run!)
