  1. twister if your drinking

  2. You can never go wrong with Monopoly.

  3. For two couples if you like card games bridge is the ultimate game.  Scrabble is also excellent, especially if played as two teams rather than as four individuals.

  4. battle of the sexes is fun.

  5. For two couples (4 people), try the card game "Hand and Foot". It is hours of fun and is played in pairs.

  6. If you are close with your friend there is a game called dirty minds.....this game gives you dirty clues to try and figure out what your team mate is talking about for example:

Try to guess what I talking about with these clues:

    1. If you hold me too long you get sticky stuff on your hand

    2. I cant stay stiff for too long when I get hot

    3. after a minute of l*****g the white stuff is on your tounge

    what is the answer????

    ICECREAM

LOL!!! This game is really fun...you have to be comfortable with your friends the clues get a little crazy but its a BLAST!!!

  7. There are so many good board games that could show you and whoever else a great time. I found that the best are: Taboo, LCR(for a bigger group of people), scrabble, pictionary, gestures, and scene it. Those will keep you busy for a while.

  8. The newlywed game is good for couples to play.

  9. For couples I would suggest pictionary.  It's sort of like Charrades (also a possibility, but not a physical "Game"), except you draw things for your partner to guess.  Pretty entertaining if you can't draw very well I suppose.

  10. That depends on what type of experience you want. Do you want something mindless to do while you chat, or do you want a game that will make you think and consider each turn?

For games that require a little brain power,  you could try Ticket to Ride, Alhambra, Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Ingenious, Liar's Dice, or Wits & Wagers.

Another poster here suggested LCR...avoid LCR like the plague! It's not even a game. You roll the dice until someone wins. There are no decisions to make, and you can't affect the outcome of the game. Ugh.
