Games like team fortress 2 that are free?

Hi everyone.

Do you know of any games in a similar style to team fortress 2 that are free.

I am looking for something to fill the gap until battlefield heroes is released.

Try out Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It has a decent player base still and us 100% free. It is a class based FPS that has one offensive team trying to accomplish certain objectives and a defensive team attempting to stop them. The game is a little old, but it will definitely hold you til BF:H
