Games to play at the pub?

Question

were having a party at the pub- its a fundraiser for the town and we wanted to have a few games that the whole pub could get involved in, but we cant think of any really good ones. we wanted to get pretty simple games too- as drunk people are hard to organise lol...

we had an idea like that orange passing game where you hold it under your chin and have to pass it onto someone else the same way...

maybe think about getting a band there- games like you say could be pretty tricky with drunk people! hehe

We have taken the old card game "spoons" and turned it into a drinking game.  Put spoons in the middle of a table--one less than the number of people playing.  Get a deck of cards.  Deal out 4 cards per person.  Then the dealer takes one card at a time from the deck and either keeps it or passes it to the next player.  The goal is to get 4 of a kind in your hand by either keeping or passing the cards that come to you.  When anyone gets 4 of a kind they grab a spoon.  Then everyone else grabs a spoon until they are all gone.  The person who does not get a spoon either takes a shot or is out of the game.
