Games to play with 2.5 yr old?

What are some good games to play or things to do with my 2.5 yr old boy? He seems to have a pretty short attention span too so can get bored pretty quickly. Any ideas will be great! Thanks

At this age a short attention span is the norm.  All kinds of manipulative games are best,  trucks, blocks, etc.  My son loved Hi-Ho Cherrio, Lucky Ducks, Elefun,--anything that let him move or made lots of noise.

trucks and cars, hide and seek, balloons, tasting game with foods, sand box, discovery in the yard, trees, and birds, and stuff, water puddles are fun, tearing paper after we make things, laughing out loud! taking a bath with toys, the "toes and fingers" game, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, hair, and smile alot? they will have fun with whatever you do? running through the house..."did you hear that?" involve them in about everything you do, and have a blast? "Peace!"
