$2153.52 - I'm English and over here parts are more expensive...

Please recommend any changes you think would be helpful, a bigger power supply, a different case, switch to the GTX 280? any opinion is appreciated.

Thanks

(Only have $2182.69 (£1100) to spend)

I'm planning on building this, not buying it...

  1. This gaming pc is worth the price... so go in for it...

  2. It looks to me like you are on the right track. For a gaming pc you want to focus on the best power supply (to run everything), cpu, memory, video card (the more built in memory the better), and don't forget about the sound card also (makes for a better gaming experience). Hope this helps.

  3. Looks good to me.

Personally i'd be leaning more towards the GTX280.

Case looks good but i like the Antec900 better.

Other than a big screen (22" or more) and 5.1 surround speakers (Logitech Z5500) which are essential to take advantage of current 5.1 games the only other thing i could suggest would be a dedicated sound card.
